Train 5V20 has to be routed to Acton East, which line isn't electrified. But this train needs AC current. When I edit its timetable to be diesel-powered, the train still stays standing before the Acton Wells Jn signal 'waiting for correct route to be set'.

I seem to recall 5V20 is a problem that I too have experienced and that is even after having downloaded the revised version of the Winter 2003 timetable following on from this thread. Although that said, I haven't gotten around to raising the error with 5V20 - I have a screenshot somewhere showing the route set for 5V20 and it's timetable plus the wrong route message and I was meaning to use it in a reply to the thread as linked to above but never did get around to it. Looks like the revised version may become a re-revised version (unless a small guide could be written out for users to be able to correct 5V20 themselves?).

Train 4O09 is planned to go to Kew East Jn but not further. This is incorrect in the new TT.

Changing power type when the train is already in the area, doesn't work.

Albert, How did you edit the timetable? Did you do it through F4 or did you press F2, right click on the entry for 5V20 and choose Timetable>Edit Timetable...? If you do it through F4, it doesn't make a difference to a train in the area already; if you do it through F2, it changes the timetable for a train in the area, but not the actual WTT as a whole. It needs editing in F2 (if it's already entered) *and* in F4 (as wain77 has pointed out) to send it on to Old Kew, whence it (in theory) makes its weary way to Soton. Log in to reply |

It looks like a re-revised version of the TT is needed. This are not the only errors in the new version. A class 7 (don't know the TD anymore) re-enters the area at Forest Gate Jn without any other TT point beyond.
