I have recently noticed that on Exeter Simsig, it is impossible for me to get Signal Failures. On Bristol Simsig I can get signal failures where the lamp appears to have ran out, and needs replacing, but I can never get this to happen in Exeter, Anyone know whats wrong?

Apologies if you've already done it, but have you checked the Failures tab on the F3 screen to see where the slider for signal failures is set?

I have run Exeter at full speed on maximum signal failures and a maximum of 6 simultaneous failures set and I set as many routes as possible throughout the simulation then eventually cancelled the routes in reverse. The time had exceeded 09:00 and I didn't get any signal or signal lamp failures.

I know for a fact that Track Circuit Failures and Points Failures happen as you will see from the 'Incident Reports' listed here so it's certainly odd not to get any Signal / Signal Lamp Failures.

I trust this helps, slightly.

Well spotted nothing is coded to fail......

Funnily enough I was doing a bit of titivation to Exeter in the last couple of days so will deal with it shortly.

Closer inspection some things are coded to fail but not much

On a very similar note albeit different sim, are there any plans to update Southampton so that it has points failures/track circuit failures/signal failures? When the new version was released, I'm pretty sure it was mentioned an update with "failures" would be provided.

There were plans to update all the Sims under the 'refresh' program and that includes Southampton. However, due to life getting in the way not every one has been finished yet.
