I have some troubles with the Winter 2004 timetable (the one packaged with the sim)

When 0C29 train comes from Whatley Quarry (VW4, last row, on the right) towards Frome North JN (up way),
it should go on to Frome (the station) and then to Blatchbridge JN

Instead it stops at the signal before Frome North JN (that is: the leftmost in the last row, near the "M" symbol)
then it reverses (in the train list: Dir=down), and it stops at the red signal.

I can not make it gone towards Frome.
If I force it to reverse "up", then it reverses "down" by itself.
And even if I go along with the train whising for going in the "down" direction, I can not set that route ("Route not available" message), becouse the one track line is still blocked in the "up" direction.

So the train is stuck there.

And there is a trouble with [bi]0A15[/b] train, that is like the previus one, but in the opposite direction:

it comes from VW5 to the VW4's fist row (on the right), and it goes to Blatchbridge JN, then to Frome (the station) and then towards Frome North JN.
Then it should go on to Whatley Quarry, though the one track line (down way).
Instead it stops at the signal before the Frome North JN (that is: the one just on the left of Frome station)
then it reverses, and it is stuck there.

Hi
I have had difficulties myself with these two but the last time I ran it (a different timetable and on the non-scrolly version) they behaved after a fashion. They reverse on the centre of the three lines on the up side of Frome station, but for some reason (? section length - I don't know) you have to set the route to the second signal beyond Frome North Junction.

If all else fails when it's misbehaving, abandon timetable, tell it to reverse if necessary and it will move until it gets to a red signal. When the previous track circuit clears, then set the required route, reinstate timetable and reverse direction (manually) again if necessary [otherwise it will just sit there waiting at the red signal pointing in the wrong direction!].

Yes, I know about "abandon timetable", and in fact I've done that way (although it's not so easy for a nearly beginner)

I'll try the other way ("you have to set the route to the second signal beyond Frome North Junction. ")

I wonder if there is a mistake in the timetable.
I tryed replacing "Frome North JN" with "Frome NJ (reverse)" (the name sound good ), but -I don't know why- I was not able to press "ok" in the timetable trip editor: when I pressed the button, nothing happened (I I was not able to close the windows with the "X" in the top-right corner too. The only button that worked was "Cancel"

Hi

I've checked the timetable I'm using and that does have "Frome NJ (Reverse)". However "Frome North Junction" is required as an intermediate passing point by the timetable editor. So for both trains you should have three entries instead of the current one:
Frome North Junction [with a passing time]
Frome NJ (Reverse) [with a stop and start time]
Frome North Junction [with a passing time]

The editor should be happy with that - and the train should run as desired.
