Is it possible to set network message (I mean the messages between the users of a network game) in a different color

and the sound different from the ring of telephone calls from trains and shunter?

You can set up all sorts of colours and sounds via the options menu. But exactly which report is tied in with which message class is somthing I'm not entirly sure of- bit of trial and error should sort that out. Maybe one day we will be able to publish a list.

On a real panel there is no distinction, it's the same phone. A couple of places have radios or mobiles for certain uses though.

Oh, I supposed that workstations in one sim were managed by people in the same office, in the real world.

So I thought that the chat in sim reproduce normal voice talks (with colleagues in the same office),
while the telephone system in the sim reproduce telephone talk.


Sorry, I'm not skilled with (real) signaling world.
