Hello there, i´m trying to create a timetable for the year 2010, including the Alloa service. I have found a lot of informations already, diagrams for train runnings, headcodes and more, But i´m looking for platform assignments in Glasgow Queen St and can´t find anything except the informations the Deutsche Bahn and networkrail are offering in their online schedule. Can somebody help developing this timetable? I appreciate any help! Thank you very much. Log in to reply |

With a bit of fiddling you should get platforms from this site. Note that there is a bug in the released version of CSCOT related to the SAK line- can't quite remember what it was but it is fixed for the next release. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

That bug had to do with the disappearance of level crossing controls in the modern panel.

The E&G main line and the other IC type services are in the main CL 170. However the unit diagrams can and do see CL 170s fitting into them as available. So an E&G 170 might arrive in GLQ and immediatly set off for a turn to Anniesland or Cumbernauld before resuming an express service to Aberdeen and so on. The WTT will probably have the timings for a CL 156 (say) but that's not to say a CL 156 will be on the diagram. If you subscribe to www.scot-rail.co.uk they have sets of diagrams on a wiki, which may or may not be current. That's what we used for the supplied McSim timetables.
