Clicking on the scroll arrows or within the scroll bar (i.e. in the empty space to scroll towards, as opposed to dragging the bar itself) causes an immediate and unrecoverable crash. I'm assuming it's a core code issue - I've just tried it on Bristol, Brighton and Oxted. I'm using Windows 7 and system files v2.223. Edit: fixed after restart, please disregard my babbling. This has happened to me on numerous occasions over the last year or so, on 2 different computers (both using XP), and is always fixed by a restart of the computer. The only difference is instead of the exception error, the program just stops responding. The only common link I have noticed is it seems to happen when the computers memory is being heavily used (ie lots of programs open), or after another program has crashed. Sadly I can't be more specific. What I can say for certain is that just restarting the sim (or loading any other sim) does not resolve the issue - a full restart of the PC is required, and also that clicking the scroll bar on other programs does not cause the same crash. Is there anything unique that the program core code does when scrolling in this manner? Leigh Log in to reply |
