Please forgive my ignorance, but, can anyone please tell me... A - Where are the Northern Pacers used for the Bishop Auckland - Saltburn services maintained and stabled? a lot of the 144s in sheffield/leeds have just had a refurbishment of sorts (its what northern calls refurbishment) but i cant see them disapearing in the forseeable future.

The link shows what was happening in 2007, some appear to stable at Darlington and some appear to stable at Heaton. right the pacers interwork with middlesbrough/sunderland services/carlisle services as a common fleet the units are based at Heaton (newcastle) by Northern rail and also Leeds Neville Hill there is a daily booked working if not 2 between york and the depot at newcastle these working interchange the units so all units visit the correct depot when required too.
