Please forgive my ignorance, but, can anyone please tell me...

A - Where are the Northern Pacers used for the Bishop Auckland - Saltburn services maintained and stabled?

B - Are Northern's Pacers due either for refurbishment of replacment any time in the foreseeble future.

Thanks in advance.

Eddy.

Assuming they still use 142s on the Bishop to Saltburn run they will probably come from Heaton (Newcastle). The link shows what was happening in 2007, some appear to stable at Darlington and some appear to stable at Heaton. I assume things are fairly similar now.

right the pacers interwork with middlesbrough/sunderland services/carlisle services as a common fleet the units are based at Heaton (newcastle) by Northern rail and also Leeds Neville Hill there is a daily booked working if not 2 between york and the depot at newcastle these working interchange the units so all units visit the correct depot when required too.
