Hi All; I am in the process of creating a semi accurate timetable, but to fill some time in the early hours, taking advantage of when the lines are generally quite, I am running some coal trains from Didcot Power Stations, up to Avonmouth BHT (Via Hullavington) Anyway, What I am getting to here is that when I get to Rushley Platt, there appears to be no option for running a Down train along the Up Main. If I leave the path and route blank, it says that there is no path found from Rushey Platt to Wootton Basset Jn using the line and path specified. It has an alternative of running along the Main Line, but this is not what I want to do. I have attached the timetable below here, and the train concerned here is 4B07-1. James Sorry if I have made a very basic error here, but, I hope that someone can help. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Last edited: 10/09/2011 at 07:50 by pedroathome Log in to reply |

Looks like there is no path specified in the sim data- you can still divert trains that way, just that you can't write a timetable that will ARS it that way. As an aside I wonder if they actually do write ARS timetables for wrong-line running- suspect not. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Thankyou for looking there. It was only to be as something different as to make the early hours of the morning slighly more interesting on the timetable that i'm working on. Rather than have it run wrong road all the way, I might just put it onto Down main there for a bit. James Log in to reply |

Fixed, in fact the data was coded save that there was no actual linkage between Location RUSHEYP and WTNBSTJ. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Thanks again for looking there. In a way I am pleased that there was something wrong, and not that I was trying to do something which would appear to work and in fact would not. Will this correction be in the next update, when ever that may be? James Log in to reply |
