In version 2.227 of Westbury (and Exeter) in the incident control panel there is a Points table showing point numbers and facility to highlight point Numbers and tick normal and reverse detection Availability.
Is there a way to find the layout location of these points.
Also can somebody tell me how is this facility used .
It is not mentioned in the Manual.
Thanks
Pete

There should be a button with a mouse on it, click that then the relevant point/signal/tc/whatever that you are interested in and the selected item should be highlighted. You can then fail (or whatever other options are available) that item.

It's a generic thing so any instructions should go in the general manual not the Sim specific one.

By the method I explained- I can't think of a scenario where you'd need to know the number before you did the thing with the mouse to find it.

If say you want to select point 1234A then where it is is irelevant but will become obvious when it fails. If you want to select the point entering Plat 2 at Swindon then you use the "find by mouse" that I explained.

If you just want a general map for interest then someone will have to make it up and publish, as has been done on other Sims.

I did try to start a point diagram for brighton, with a view to making them for all sims eventually, however since crowded locations and points go hand-in-hand, it became very messy, especially since they are routinely 6 characters long.

On this topic, what do the different isolation abbreviations mean (ENG, TI, BET), and why are some combined?

Isolations :

ENG = Engineering, some form of possession T3, T2, T12 ect. (T codes are different types of possessions)
TI = Traction Isolation. Perhaps the OHLE or third rail is not on.
BET = Blocked to Electric Traction. The power isn't on. (Note in most real signal-boxes this is known as BTET)
