At some point over the last week or so i hosted a multiplayer game using my first TT ever written based in the 1980s for the Exeter sim. Due to the overall popularity of the TT and the warm comments made by people who joined i set out to make a new 1980s based timetable for Exeter but with a lot more trains and to run through a 24 hour period. At this moment in time i have most of the passenger services done, timing issues and platform conflicts included. I just have a few more trains to add which i'd forgotten about. Once these have been completed and i have added all the relevant rules, i will arrange a private multiplayer session. After this has been completed and i've ironed out the issues found, i will then sort out parcels, mail and freight. Once all that's been added i'll then set up another multiplayer session to find/iron out issues with that side of the TT. When that has been sorted out i'll then look in to a public release. The TT is based in the 1980s again and is again a complete work of fiction. At present with only passenger services and light loco moves added i am up at 610 trains. When finished i'm hoping it'll be nearer the 700/750 mark. While testing is open i will be happy to hear peoples ideas on trains that could be added to create more interest and/or to busy things up further. If you would be interested in helping test this TT then just reply to this thread and i will PM you nearer the time to arrange dates and times. Regards, Simon. Thanks for the interest folks. Progress has been a lot slower then i would've liked but i think the TT is now pretty much finished as far as i'm concerned. During testing i will be happy to hear ideas from you guys about what more could/should be added, either for interest or to busy things up further still. At the moment i have no idea about a date for testing, i'm waiting for a confirmed clear day from SWMBO (the Mother in this case!) so that i can just sit and test without too many distractions. All i know is it'll be either a Saturday or Sunday and i will hopefully be able to give people 3 or 4 days notice. If you're still interested can you drop an email to simon.banham(AT)hotmail(DOT)co(DOT)uk please, so i can just email everyone at once when i have a date set. Be sure to let me know what your multiplayer screen name is too. Thanks all, Simon. (RIZZ) Last edited: 31/10/2011 at 16:31 by DrPepperExpress Log in to reply |
