Second pair of eyes please 30/10/2011 at 22:22 #22289

Could I please request a second pair of eyes on this particular Wiki page. There are mentions of "Washley Heath", which I can't find labelled on the simulation nor via a Google search?! There is a mention of "Landor St Arr/Dep line" but is it not 'Lawley Street Arr/Dep Line'? There may also be other possible errors I haven't spotted too, hence requesting a second pair of eyes. Assistance with this appreciated, thanks in advance.

apart from one mispelling of bordesley, nothing else except the two you mentioned. it definetely is lawley st arrivals, departures not landor st

interestingly washwood heath is referred to as both washwood and washley in the text

Damn, thought I had gotten all of them, but that one ("bordsley"slipped through.

Cheers.

Seems a shame when we have to have a thread implicitly ridiculing an entry someone has taken the time and effort to put on the Wiki rather than just editing out the obvious typos.

Woah there Postal - I was not ridiculing the Wiki page linked to in any way, shape or form. Sorry if you've got or I've given the wrong impression here but I wasn't sure about whether or not the names I had seen were typos/errors/mistakes or if they were correct names - hence the reason for starting this thread, to ask others.

Were I ridiculing something on the Wiki then the thread title would probably be something along the lines of 'Have a laugh at these Wiki mistakes' and my wording would probably be very clear, but then such a thread would almost certainly backfire on me after my "eidnsimp" mistake on Saturday just gone, so such a thread simply would not exist.

I trust this clears things up.
