Yes, this is awesome. One thing I was slightly sad about: no more ARS in Soton? I presume this is more realistic?

The lack of ARS is a slight downside, but the good points discount that.

Great work guys!

One issue I have found is that older TT's don't work - not unexpected, though as the locations are the same I thought they may have worked.
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

I like the sim, I'm on it alot at the moment. I find that for me it's best to work from one end with one train to the other then pickoup another train then go back to the side you started at setting its road as you go. but you need to be quick.

are there any new timetables available for this box as I only have the default 24 hour one that came with the sim.

Yes this really is a great sim and one that I have enjoyed many hours on. Also it is one of few sims that allow you to arrange the windows to include the Control Window in the top-left, the Overview Window (or was it the Messages Window) in the top-right, the Messages Window (or was it the Overview Window) below those two and then the View Window below that so this provides you with easy control over the whole area. It's very manageable on solo-player plus also not too bad for multiplayer as you could perhaps have two people playing it with the areas split to either side of Southampton station with each player signalling 'their trains' into the station then leaving them for the other player to signal out of the station. Alternatively you could also split it up into three sections with one player controlling the two lines to the far left up to Northam Junction then the next player controlling from Northam Junction, through Southampton and upto the two-line section (beyond Millbrook station, isn't it?).

You can download further timetables for this simulation at http://www.SimSig.co.uk/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=56&func=select&id=20.

Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for.

AFAIK UKTM, the older timetables (such that you've linked to in your post) do not work on new Southampton.

Then again, a conversion should be easy enough, the thing that breaks it is a change of the internal location identifiers to the real IDs (TIPLOCs) rather than arbitary values. This makes certain timetable writing methods much much easier.

All you have to do is open the old TTs with Clive's WTT > TXT converter, and do a 'Find and Replace' on the incorrect Identities. Having a copy of the old and the new open simultaneously will help you with this.

I personally think not having ARS isn't really an issue. Ive used Southampton for many years and almost never used ARS there, as its more intresting without
Sorry guys, I am in the business of making people wait!
