Some time ago there was a website that had a spreadsheet listing all the interlockings in the UK and also what types of signalboxes were in control - for example, whether it was a Westinghouse panel, or a Westpac IV Geographic interlocking etc. I can't find it now - does anybody know where it is? Thanks. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

Hi Geoff, think I've found something that may be similar to what you're looking for. It certainly mentions use of spreadsheets. bpsr.signallingnotices.org.uk/versions.php . Hope it helps. Mal. Last edited: 31/10/2011 at 10:06 by delticfan Log in to reply |

Yes, it's in there - the British Railway Power Signalling Register, created by Andy Overton. It's a massive document (with 3 separate spreadsheets, - interlockings, signalboxes, and power framed signalboxes) and it's very much a "live" document which Andy is updating as & when he tracks down more information (with occasional cans of worms being thoroughly chewed on the Blower to resolve things). Probably the ultimate authoritative document. Log in to reply |

I thought that might be it when I saw reference to use of spreadsheets. I didn't download as it looks a bit big. Mal. Log in to reply |

Probably the ultimate authoritative document. The actual spreadsheet is only 711Kb. The bulk of the zip to be downloaded is a 10Mb+ pdf file which goes through the various columns on the three tabs on the spreadsheet explaining what each of the entries means. The actual zip for download is at this link. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |
