Translated to English with google translate) This simulation uses several special features not included in other previous SimSig simulations. I read manual and wiki of this sim. The problem is the choice Thorr. Manual puts clear that is possible to put it on / off and that not all tracks use this option and that NX box never use this option. Which are the NX box?... ..................... Other question over same issue, there is a strange detail that I do not understand well. Example, was created route for train 1, okay. Train 2 uses the same route as train 1. Well, train 2 cannot run on that created route for train 1. Players must clear full that route manually and after to create it of new for train 2. Incoherent if both trains use the same pass points... This is a difficult and messy job. Because player does not know which routes use the automatic or manual clear option. Until where I have looked there are not some symbols that distinguishes one form or another for both works. So how do we ignore that detail, players could only know it after long hours proving this sim. If anyone might be a bit Matice this simply give me just answer. Thanks SimSig friends ... Carlos, Some of the signal boxes in this simulation are manual boxes. (ie: they have levers that you have to pull for each train, and put back for each train) Because of this, the TORR option does not apply to these signal boxes (or workstations) in the simulation. I do not know if there is a list of which boxes/workstations are manual. I hope this helps! Log in to reply |

Which box is which type is covered here. TORR is as Matt says optional on the 4 NX panels. Overview of the Mechanical box operations is here Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

Carlos I would add that it is not easy to get to grips with everything that is going on in this sim, so don't give up. That is because it is simulating the operation of each of the mechanical signalboxes as accurately as possible within the way that SimSig operates. Remember that in 'real life' each of those signalboxes would have a separate signaller operating them, and they would be operating in 'real time' without any fast forward option! However, if you keep at it you will learn which areas you need to keep a closer eye on, resetting routes as trains pass, and should find that this sim is good fun as well as a great challenge. Hi, love this sim except for having to manually clear routes along Dunblane, Stirling, Larbert and the nearby triangle junction. Is there any option to make this section automatic like the rest of the sim? If not, is there any possibility of it being included in any future versions? I understand in real-life signals in that area are manual but I don't like having to spend time re-setting routes in the area like a babysitter when I can be tending to the other trains and preparing routes more in advance where feasible (as well as all the problems that arise outside perfect mode). Thank you. Nil. Log in to reply |

At the moment, no. I don't know about the future though. For now, have you tried running with 'right click cancels route' ticked? This helps for me, as does only cancelling routes when another train needs them.
