As write I am looking at vinyl copies of The Railway Stories Vols 1 and 4 narrated by Johnny Morris and 3 un-numbered versions narrated by William Rushton (must have been posh records as I always remember him as Willie Rushton!). These are all 12" LPs not 7" singles.

I believe I know a good reason why this simulation might not see the light of day. I can sum it up in 2 words. BRITT ALLCROFT!

It is a well known fact that Britt Allcroft keen a close leash on anything to do with Thomas The Tank Engine, and even if any potential "sim" is non-profitmaking, that company would ensure that strict copyright is observed.

Britt Allcroft was acquired by Hit Entertainment 5 or 6 years ago, and Hit was bought by Mattel about a year ago.
