You? :P

Natalie and I have transport there and back sussed - Coach (National Express) there, gets me in at 9am (if anyone wants breakfast at Spoons PM me). Then we catch the last (!) northbound coach of the night, and arrive in Meadowhall at 4:15 am (!), where we then wait an hour for the first bus.

This time next week we'll be sound asleep!

I just tried that: had to click on Next and it did bring up the same screen (I think), but then clicking again took me to a redirection page which eventually reloaded as the PayPal log in screen.

Oddly I can't see your order creation in the shop's history, though my attempt shows up.

A thought: were you logged in?

Yes, logged in and the 'item' was still in the cart although that may just be a cookie thing.

Seems that it was because I hadn't put in a billing address. As I saw it as I was paying by Paypal (and it had agreed) I didn't see the point.
With a billing address I get to a second paying page to choose Paypal again

Should now be paid ?

regards
Bill

Yes, now paid, thank you. Possibly my address was auto filled so I didn't notice the same thing. It is odd admittedly so I'll have a look under the hood at some point.

Well, here's the finalised tube closures for this weekend

As with last years meet TfL / LUL clearly have a grudge against us having a social meetup so looks like many people will be arriving via the Central Line again, or alternatively there may be the possibility of bus - but take note that there may be roadworks in the area for Crossrail which may affect buses.

Anyone wishing planning their route is advised to use the TfL Journey Planner. Any further help needed with journeys then you're welcome to PM me.

If you try the 205 you might get there a bit quicker!

Not sure when they start or if they haven't started already but if they have then local buses may have altered routes and even altered stops which may cancel out any time hoped to be saved by taking the bus.

*goes to TfL website*

See this link and this PDF for more information on the aforementioned roadworks.

Edgware Road - Wimbledon shut....great! My other half is going to St Helier once I arrive at Paddington to drop a bike off and am going with him so with that section off I've planned a long winded route!

1. Paddington - Ealing Broadway NR
2. Ealing Broadway - Turnham Green LU
3. Turnham Green - Richmond LU
4. Richmond - Wimbledon via Strawberry Hill NR
5. Wimbledon - St Helier NR

Then to Liverpool street probably via Bus to Sutton, NR to Victoria and tube onwards.
Might get there one day or the next!!

Looking forward to my second meet, might be less nervous than my first as I didn't know anyone then

Would there be any objection to myself and Alan bringing two 23" touch screen monitors to set up on a workstation? So that people can try them out?

As long as you bring a mouse for those who can't work them XD
Would be good to have a go with them in all cases
