Hi 2012 timetable uploaded... A few problems with it: Several Pendolinos are booked into Platform 18. Unforunately in the 1990s sim this platform is not long enough and trains will foul platform 17 but be clear inside 157 signal. You can choose whether to replatform these trains or let the trains stand foul. Late running trains will turn back quickly, is there a way of having a universal rule for having a minimum turnback of 5 mins for all trains? 5S95 has loco dead on rear but SimSig thinks there is no engine once 0s26 is detached, so I have added an 0s25 from Wembley Enjoy... regarding 5s95, if you alter it to a straight forward split rather than detatch loco, the train wont need 0s25 for turnarounds, the default stop coding for euston isnt that long (clive can of course answer this) i would suggest using the rule "train (outgoing train) must not depart from euston until 5 mins after train (incoming train) has arrived at euston "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply The following user said thank you: paul87101 |

Is 17 the platform that isn't used much these days, or is that 7?

Thanks for the 5S95 tip. I just wondered if I could avoid having to do 300 rules all saying 5 mins Paul Log in to reply |

Sounds like a great timetable, so will be downloading it momentarily and giving it a blast soon. B) " said: I just wondered if I could avoid having to do 300 rules all saying 5 mins Not yet, but following on from this thread, it will be added. Post #3. :cheer: Until then, I'd certainly recommend following the advice in Post #2. I'm at 11:08 sim time and 1A16 (08:55 Man Picc - Euston 390) has entered about 11 down due to running loss of power. It's a Pendolino and is booked for Platform 18, so apart from the afore advised warning in the first post about Pendolinos in Platform 18, the platform is occupied anyway by 1U33 (11:46 Euston - Crewe 350 EMU). Just to advise others in-advance, I have checked F8 Simplifier and looks like Platform 7 might be best to use as it's not needed until 12:01 (by 09:55 Man Picc - Euston 390). Anyway, I'm loving the timetable so far - I think it is quietly brilliant :cheer: B) Any views and / or opinions expressed by myself are from me personally and do not represent those of any company I either work for or am a consultant for. Hello, This timetable is great, thank you to its creator! I have one query; it's 15.34 (sim time...) and I have train 1A38 (a Voyager) due to arrive shortly into platform 15, however I already have train 1S82 (a Pendolino) in platform 15, not booked out until 16.30 (the Voyager is booked out at 16.10). Is it possible to get a Voyager and Pendolino into the platform at the same time? Or is this an error in the timetable? Or have I altered the timetable and completely forgotten about it?! @AlexH I`ve checked timetable, 1610 shown as 1x5 voyager "Front 5 coaches only" so I guess it is correct. Last edited: 01/02/2012 at 20:08 by paul87101 Reason: AlexH credited Log in to reply |

" said:New Euston 2012 V1.3 uploaded, should appear shortly, in same place as original.Hi Paul enjoying this timetable quite alot, got euston all gridlocked cause of a few point failures, however one thing i've noticed, is that i'm having to every so often abandon rules because trains has been referenced to the wrong services. So far i have noticed this with the following 2 trains 2K21 has a rule for not departing 4 mins after 2T12 arrives it also has a rule with 1W84 which 2K21 is formed from 1W84, and after a little digging, i have found that 2T12 produces 2K211 (a service that departs over 12 hours after 2K21 does) I gues thats the problem here. The other one was with 3J06, hes ruled to not leave till 3 mins after 2W63 arrives at euston, however 3J06 is formed from 2W53. 2W63 also arrvies over 2 hours after 3J06 is due to leave, i presume that in this case 2W63 should of been 2W53? Hope theses are of help, will let you know any others as i find them. Cheers Nath Log in to reply The following user said thank you: paul87101 |
