Hey all, while playing this sim I have come across the following pop-up message: "Internal error: Exception in OneSecondHi (EInvalidOperation: Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window)" Anyone able to help out in determining what it means? Cheers Nil. Log in to reply |

Can you explain the circumstances and can you reproduce the error. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |

It's actually popping up around every 30 minutes (that's a rough guess) and I think it does affect the trains in the sim because I've noticed that a select few trains tend to stall on whatever their position was (as seen in F2) when the message pops up. At one time when it popped up I also noticed that the level crossings which I was opening or closing would stall and would remain doing so even a minute after. I've resolved to just save the sim, exit and reopen the sim which seemingly does the trick. I guess I can reproduce the error since it still occurs every so often during play (I'm up to about 7pm so still quite some time left). Nil. Log in to reply |

Have you set the sim to take a snapshot every 10 minutes? (F3/Control) Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |

(F3/Control) I think it is set for fifteen minutes, but: - I'll have to check to be sure. - I don't change this setting with each new sim I try (I made the change once and I'm not even sure how the snapshot setting works exactly). The setting is retained from sim to sim - it automatically saves a copy of the sim every X minutes in the same folder as the TTs.

I've checked and I did have it set for 15, but didn't actually have that option ticked so no screenshots for this one. Though try to open two or three level crossings simultaneously and you may get the message. Nil. Last edited: 25/01/2012 at 14:07 by Aurora Log in to reply |

Hi, I've experienced this problem and managed to get some screen grabs. I've had it a few times over the last couple of days. It doesn't appear to be anything to do with crossings for me, nor do I get it every half hour or so, it's much more random. Instead it seems to be something to do with the exit points at both Bridgwater and Castle Cary. Although that in itself is random, as it doesn't affect every train that passes those places. As mentioned in the previous post all trains on the panel seem to freeze while this is happening, all crossings freeze and won't continue to close/open if they were doing so before hand. The only way round it I've found so far is to save the TT, save the session, and reboot the sim. Once you've reloaded the save, everything runs as it should. This is the error that shows up. And anything passing Castle Cary or Bridgwater won't leave the area. I am unsure whether trains can leave from other exit points once the error has shown up as I never seem to have anything leaving from anywhere else! Which, to my mind, points to the aforementioned exit points. I hope this is of some help. P.S For some reason my second attachment won't show. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. I can confirm it would seem nothing can exit from any exit point, once the error message has shown up. Trains simply sit in F2 showing 'About to exit area'. I've now had instances at Bridgwater, Castle Cary, Goodrington, Riverside Yard North & south and Ivybridge. Log in to reply |
