Yes, had the same problem. The route was set but the shunt signal would not clear. I told 0D98 to pass the signal to get it to proceed and join.

It's been reported as a bug and Chris Lord is investigating.

Not sure whether the move in question is to the Up line or to the Down line, but I'd suggest that neither is intended to be provided with a calling-on route. Neither IR206 nor IR203 are provided with either a shunt route across to the LOS on the Up or (evidently, by the lack of subsidiary signal) a calling-on route towards the Down. That suggests to me that the LOS on the Up has been provided (at some point) solely to allow movements from Immingham Rec Sdgs to run out clear of Humber Road Jn to reverse - which would need to be on the Up line - then towards Immingham West, and that the subsidiary signal on IR207 (only) is provided solely to allow that move out towards the LOS. That's why I'd suspect that it's quite correct that IR207 won't clear towards an occupied line.

"Late Turn" has it on the nose! The only reason for the subsidiary signal on IR207 is to allow movements from Immingham RS to crossover to the Up Line to access the locations near Immingham West Jcn. However, the signal only allows a SINGLE movement, and will not work towards an OCCUPIED Up Line. Movements from Immingham RS are either hauled by a yard pilot with the train locomotive at th other end - or propelled from the yard with a shunter preceding on foot. If hauled by the pilot loco, this is detached at the LOS board, then follows the train back towards Humber Rd Jcn. In the unusual event of the train locomotive not being present, the train may still be hauled by the yard pilot as before, but in this case the train locomtive would have to approach IR207 and the driver request permission to pass the signal at Danger from the signalman at Immingham RS. Until 2007 I worked as a train driver at Immingham, so I am fairly well equipped to answer most questions about the area. I must commend the creator of this sim for his general accuracy - and the way he has represented Barnetby albeit with MAS signalling. There are only a few issues which I will deal with elsewhere. This theme is from year 2011. I am playing S. Humberside, train 6D98 is stopped on east point down line. Loco 0D98 runs to signal IR85 and after reverse and join with 6D98. Problem is than 6D98 is using the down line and after to be coupled cannot to run to up line direction Inmignham west. Can enable track to IR122 signal, but train is put up from down line and doesn' accept run down to go to signal IR122. How to fix this?... This theme is year 2011. I have same problem over train 6D98 and loco 0D98. Train is stopped on down line. If move to signal IR122, after cannot to move loco to up line. Then 6D98 stopped on down line, uncouple loco and send it to humber road jn, reverse and couple with train, ok. Problem begins when loco is coupled, because train 6D98 from down line cannot to send it to up line direction Inmingham west and its destination point. I have proved after to couple loco, to send train to signal IR22, using reversing option. But train doesn't accept it. If train cannot be moved to up line, then isn't possible to send it to Inmingham west, because from down main line there isn't connection to up line directly. Unique form found was, select track from east stop point to IR 122, cancel timetable and give down movement. Then enable it timetable putting it to up direction. Then if can to send to Inmingham west point. Anyone has a best answer, how to fix this problem mentioned?... Log in to reply |

Add new details. If we add Lindsey 117 rev point to Lindsey east if can run to up line correctly and modify size train from 300 to 100. For my reason is timetable bug for this train, wasn't put signal 117 rev from Lindsey east. Log in to reply |
