Whilst attempting to create train data for 6D97 1111 WFO Gainsborough Lea Road - Immingham Texaco after several different ways of attempting to create the train data the train keeps getting rejected with 'Invalid Train data' error message. Starting Location is G'boro Lea Rd LR26 as this is the only one available in the 1980s mode. Next location I've tried is Gainsboro Lea Road, Saxilby, West Holmes Jn. I get a rejection for Originating location & Gainsboro Lea Rd. Even deleting that location & adding Pyewipe Jn the rejection message still appears. There doesn't seem to be any other locations in the list which appear between Gainsboro Lea Rd Oil Terminal & Saxilby. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? Log in to reply |

G'boro Lea Road LR26 does not have routes from it as its an internal location and should not be seen (I have corrected that for the update). There are two other TIPLOC locations that do relate to Lea Road sidings. One company begins with C and the other begins with M.....both company names are prefix by something (it may be just Gainsborough). That is as much as I can recall without having the sim data in front of me. (Chafers and Melrose -AG) Log in to reply |

Yes I understand what you are saying, but Gainboro LR26 is the only location in the entry point list for Gainsborough. So are we saying then until the next update is released you can't put a train in the timetable that originates from the oil terminal at Gainsborough?

Thank you Mr Greenland....knew you would know! As Andy added to my post, look for locations ending in Chafers or Melrose. I don't remember when these locations were added off the top of my head but I would expect them to be in the released version (famous last words they are though...). I can give you a more definitive answer once I get home and can look at the data and the version log unless someone else (Mr Greenland?) knows what the full location names are. Log in to reply |

I understand what Andy & Lardybiker are saying, but what I am saying is that there aren't any locations in the Entry Point list of locations with either Melrose or Chafers in the list. The only location in the Entry Point list is that of 'Gainsboro Lea Rd LR26' location. There are both Chafers & Melrose locations in the list you get when you enter train data for the schedule of the said train. So is the answer to leave the Entry Point blank & put Gainsboro Melrose or Chafers as the first point for the schedule as you would for a passenger trains 2nd leg from a previous terminating point?

That's weird...There should be entry points in there for them....I was looking at the path file yesterday to make sure the paths were in for it (but forgot to post the results after I'd checked). I'll double check I've not missed something.

Not a problem. For you information, I am working on an updated version. I haven't quite got to a state where I can throw it out for testing yet but its not far off. I am hoping that I can get it done in the next few weeks.

Well I shall look forward to that Chris when it is released. When all said & done I think you've done an excellent job with this, especially as this is your first one. Good luck with your continuing project.
