You cannot download and install on an iOS device, but as I said in the other thread you can run it on such devices.

Cambridge displayed and played on iPad via PC (not installed on iPad)

I am a little confused as to what the point in having SimSig on an iPod is.

Surely the screen would be too small for anything meaningful to work?

On a iPod would be totally pointless because as you say it would just be too small.

On a tablet though it works surprisingly well...obviously not quite as tactile as using a mouse but not too bad at all.

Using desktop remote access software (I use splashtop)

Install the app to your tablet and install the client software to your pc and what ever is running on your PC gets streamed via local wireless network to your tablet. Your tablet effectively becomes a wireless, portable touch screen monitor.
