I have created two maps about locations in the Scunthorpe area and I have added to the wiki. I was not sure where it was better to put on the wiki so I have put them on the Scunthorpe Area TIPLOC codes page (as this was the source of information I used to create the map). Click on the image to enlarge it, and click again on it to get to the actual image (I would have preferred to put a link to the image, but I was not able to find a way to do in DokuWiki). The images are not as good as I wanted, but I choose to share anyway in case it can be useful to someone else. I wanted to have the text to be searchable, but in this version is just an non-searchable image (I will try to do them again in svg version, so that I could export them in pdf format where the text is searchable). I have other maps, similar to these two maps, for all the other areas except Immingham. Tell me if you think them useful and wanted me to upload them to the wiki too. Log in to reply |

They will be very useful! Fancy doing one for Immingham as well? Kev Log in to reply |

Personally, I prefer AnyFile's diagrams, as reflecting the various locations in a panel environment is far clearer for novices of the simulation. If AnyFile's willing, and his time permits, I think a similar diagram of Immingham would be very useful. Log in to reply |

I should point out that an updated version is in the works and some of the TIPLOC codes at Immingham will move following gratefully received information from a people in the SimSig community.

I have uploaded the other maps I have done on the wiki in the other location page. I have not done anything for the Immingham area. (I have edited the title of this thread) Log in to reply |
