Well done Chris!!

Just booted this up and got through the morning stuff to 0400 so far, looks cracking at the moment!
Couldn't route a train to P8 through any 'via' button, though I think some other people have had that but I had no time to check what to do, so I shoved the 310 into P9, but at least it's not caused a bottleneck so far

I know me and Simon (DrPepperExpress) like to know what the train is, so I've gone through some of it and added the class and load into the description box. If anyone wants this sort of version let me know, providing Chris doesn't mind of course!

I don't know if you will be releasing it again if there are small errors, but I note 2A00 doesn't have a passing time ticked for Camden Road Jn. No other problems found yet.

Thank you very much for this, I look forward to continuing where I left off in a bit!

Good tt from what I have seen so far Chris, albeit up to 0100, however there seems to be an anomaly with the timings of 5A63 0250 Euston - Down CS.

What train are you referring to? Only one "via" button needed on Up Slow and that is "K" Click sig. 64, then "K" then P8 end arrow. Other directions can be tricky.

5A73 0502 Down Carr Shed-Northampton enters at Camden C.S. (Dn) and cannot be routed onto the Down Slow as booked. Presumably the entry point is incorrect.

Apart from this and other points noted above it's looking good so far.

Chris there is a platform clash at Euston around 05:55. 1M11 2320 Glasgow - Euston booked into P3 at 05.55. However 5M09 06+15 ECS Euston - Willesden Carr MD isn't booked out of P3 till 06+15. Routed 1M11 into P2 instead.

It should be noted that many of the morning ECS from the Down Carriage Shed enter at lines 10-11. If you don't send any of the early ECS from Euston to Down Carr Shed into lines 10-11 then these lines quickly run out of stock and trains due to enter can't enter until there is stock. There isn't an option in the timetable for arrivals at Down Carr sidings to specify which lines trains go to so a bit fore-knowledge and planning needs to be done. I had to rescue the situation by creating a couple of ECS from Camden CS.

I got to 0900 and then found that 0G22 had not entered from Up Carriage Sidings at 0801. Tried again by resetting to 0800 start put no joy. Any ideas.

Otherwise a great WTT with some nice bits included. Euston is ideal for one person operation and I find about 800 or so trains I just about my limit to control alone.

Thanks

0G22 TT has 2 Rules applied to it. The first rule should be for 0F22's TT. Consequently 0G22 will not enter for the second rule.

Sorry, do not follow. 0G22 has 2 rules, second says loco appears 2 mins after 1A19 arrives at 10.51, whereas OG22 is loco for 1G22 departing 08.40. Please explain again.

Thanks

I got the message that 10-11 had run out of stock too. My solution was to edit the TT and change the entry point to 1-9. Fortunately, that DID have stock. Now I'll run out of that in a minute!

Roger, It is a timetable error. The rule involving 1A19's arrival is incorrect.

The first rule "0G22 must appear 2 minutes after 1A19 arrives at Euston" has to be changed to "0F22 must appear 2 minutes after 1A19 arrives at Euston"

Chris, 5A73 is tabled to run on Slow. It is unable to from Camden C.S. (Dn) (121).

5A64 is timetabled to go DF at Camden Junction but the path is SL at Willesden Jn. This clashes with 2A21 on the Down Slow; I think 5A64 belongs on FL.

Another bug, 2C10 does not have passing time ticked at Camden Junction.

Edit. 2A42 has a platforming conflict with 2B35, on platform 8. They're too long for double-stocking. 2A42 can go into platform 7 instead of 8.

2nd edit. I think 5A01 would have to call at Camden South Jn from 08:26 to 08:35 just like 5M16 does a while earlier, instead of calling at Camden Junction.

3rd edit. Train 1A65 has a platforming conflict; platform 1 is still occupied by 5A891. 1A65 can go to platform 7 instead without any problem.

I now have a rather strange issue.

Train 0A37 is in platform 13 behind 1A37 (which will become 1F33). The train has passing time ticked at Euston. Its TT automatically steps up to Backing Out Roads, and while it's still behind 1A37 in the platform asks for authority to depart "at Backing Out Roads". When I grant it authority to move, it drives towards the buffers of P13 and runs out of valid track there.

This is solved by unticking passing time in the TT, then stepping it back to Euston, and reversing the train to the Down direction.

1F33 and 2B55 reported leaving on wrong line, even though I used the right line for them. 1F33 appears to need a FL code at Willesden, but 2B55 correctly has SL here. Probably it was caused by 2B55 receiving an ACOA in the platform (caused by sudden signal failure), but 1F33 didn't have any problem like that.

Edit. 5B65/2B65 can use P8 instead of P9 which is still occupied when the train arrives at Euston.

2nd edit. 1H16 likely has a wrong path code at Willesden, SL instead of FL.

No, that can't cause that.

The code makes no check until the train is about to exit the sim. It then determines the train's "desired line". This is "DC" if the train is timetabled at Kilburn High Road, even as a passing time. If not, it is the line code at Camden Junction or, if that's blank, the path code at Willesden; if that's also blank, there is no wrong line penalty. A train leaving on the fast line must have a desired line of FL or DF. One leaving on the slow line must have a desired line of SL or DS. One leaving on the New Lines must have a desired line of DC.

And that's all. Nothing to do with ACoAs or wrong platforms.

That's a good trick! It's a bit hard to pass Euston.

The timetable analyser will detect this error, but the timetable will still validate. It shouldn't - I've raised that as a bug (8913).

Attached is a conversion of this timetable for the loader sim.

Changes:
Bug fixes above
Resolve CS use and balancing
Resolve platform and entry clashes
Fix route DF -> FL Willesden

Note many light engines run off to, and enter from up CS. If two enter at once this will lock up sig 53. Avoid this by moving the locos ASAP
Mantis 36788.

A few more runs from others would be good, then mods can consider replacing the existing download.
