New timetable uploaded Stafford Intensive 20 min Timetable. Fictional timetable based in 1990s. 20 minute clockface timetable with regular services Liverpool/Manchester/Scotland/Holyhead - London/Birmingham. Also local services Crewe - Euston via Hixon, and Birmingham - Rugeley every 15 mins. Just a fun timetable for those of us who like a continuous flow of trains! There is an update with extra local trains. I`ll upload if anybody is interested. I`ve also done an intensive 20 min clockface loco-hauled 1990s fictional timetable for Euston which I can upload if anyone wants to try it. Paul Log in to reply |

Up to about 6.30 on the 20-minute Euston timetable and not spotted any major issues at the moment. One thing I would query is the train lengths though - the loco hauled formations of a loco + 8 coaches is in as 160 metres which strikes me as being a bit short. I imagine it should be more around the 200 metre mark?

The Down CS shunt necks are too short to shunt the full length (as noted in another thread) so I had to shorten the sets to make the shunts work. I recall the sets used to shunt in real life out of the Down CS and into the station but I`m not sure if they used these necks or behind 81 signal. Paul Log in to reply |

Trains can overhang the shunt necks but they are still able to access the station, I have seen this in many timetables

Given the date this TT was last updated, I suspect you are trying to run a TT written for the old Stafford sim on the newly released Loader cersion of Stafford. As has been reported elsewhere on the forum, TT's written for the old Stafford sim will not run out-of-the-box on the new Stafford sim and some work is involved to get them to work correctly. I understand Howard is working on converting legacy TT's but I can't say which ones he is doing, which order they'll be done in or when they'll get released. Log in to reply |

Thanks for updating Stafford and the other great West Midlands sims. I am updating this tt but I am having difficulty with trains accessing Lichfield Down Spur. Whichever previous location I use the tt won't validate. Help! Paul Log in to reply |
