Beaten too it. There are one or two small issues that were found as a result of other users running Oxted. It may be worth having a look at the manual here http://www.SimSig.co.uk/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=usertrack:mans:oxted You may find that the banner repeators do some rather strange things, these are known about and they will not affect the trains in anyway. In the mean time I hope you enjoy the sim :) Paul You have to get a red before you can get any other colour Log in to reply |

Thanks Paul, already got the manual and read it earlier. Pity is is not more like a tutorial for me as the only route I have played so far is Royston, checking the tutorial as I go along . Just hope I can have a good go at Oxted. I think I may be shouting for help along the way. Bill Log in to reply |

That's what the rest of us are here for =) (although I'm out pulling levers the rest of the day but no doubt someone will come along with a solution at some point!) Good luck!! Log in to reply |

The principles of operating Royston apply everywhere else. Just make sure you read the 'Simulation Operation' page in the Oxted user manual, which explains how to operate the features specific to Oxted. Thanks For all your help and advice, I just started playing Oxted and so far got 3 trains running ahead of time, not sure if I should hold them up but not got any negative messages so far. Using them up and down tracks is a bit tricky. Bill Log in to reply |

Early running trains don't matter too much, and passenger/Empty coaching stock (ECS) trains rarely get more than 10 minutes early. Early running only becomes a problem when freight trains run very early and get in the way of passengers. However, there aren't any freight trains on Oxted, so that won't be a problem. You'll never be peanalised by the Sim for a train running early.

Wow Got to 98% on Royston but due to early mistakes I don't think I can get better after 5 hours of timetable. will start giving Oxted a real good try now. Bill Log in to reply |
