as far as im aware in real life this light is illuminated if the entrance is safe to send a train into (ie unoccupied), the sim manual details it stays illuminated if 120m of space is available should it delluminate when a train leaves the shed as the siding isnt clear until the train has passed beyond the entrance? " said:as far as im aware in real life this light is illuminated if the entrance is safe to send a train into (ie unoccupied),In real life there's a light switch beside the shed which the shunters turn on and off depending on whether they want to allow trains in or not. Quote: the sim manual details it stays illuminated if 120m of space is availableThis seemed a reasonable interpretation of "we're happy to accept another train". Quote: should it delluminate when a train leaves the shed as the siding isnt clear until the train has passed beyond the entrance? It's not connected to track circuits or anything else like that, and I doubt the shunters turned it off as trains were leaving then on when they cleared the signal!
