When our bearded friend was introducing his Voyagers, he didn't want them listed as Class 1 trains as that didn't reflect the way that they were going to revolutionise the whole of the Cross-Country business. It was agreed that they would be shown in the TT as Class 9 trains so that the signallers and regulation staff could give them due deference. I would hazard a guess that the core code is recognising Cl. 9 TDs as passengers in this instance, so it may well be that ticking the freight line speeds box will remove the problem.

You can either change this for each individual train or by the generic train characteristics. If you open the TT for one of the trains and go to the "Train Characteristics" tab, there is a "Use freight linespeeds" check-box three parts of the way down the page. If you check this, it should stop the problem. Alternatively, take note of the Train Category and close the train's TT. Then go to the Train Types tab of the F4 Timetable window, find the relevant train category and check the "Use freight linespeeds" box. If you do that, any other train in the TT with the same Category will automatically show with the box checked.

Out of interest, in the 1979 TT, would 7E421 Train Characteristics be correct for the Train Category?
