Having a run on the new Peterborough ... If there are two trains in quick succession from the Spalding line, the second train headcode overwrites the first at signal SD3 berth. Secondly, all non-Peterborough signals are shown with automatic posts irrespective of whether they are automatic or not - even Eastfield's GPL signals in the yard area are shown thus. Regarding the trains at Spalding, are you sure about this? In my experience of an issue like that, the first headcode appears but the second one only appears once the first train is actually on my panel (instead of 'approaching'). Regarding the second issue, I would hazard a guess that the non-Peterborough signals are shown as automatic because they are exactly that - automatic. I would also guess that the signals at Eastfield's GPL are that way because they are used as exit signals for routing any trains that way. Hope this helps? EDITED TO ADD; I have just tested out this overwriting error and can confirm it as happening. For Sim purposes external signals have to be 'Automatic' because you can't control them! Or the developer has to write a whole load of special code to clear them at the right time. It is possible to remove the bar from any Auto signal but it's not essential. The overwriting I'll post to the bug-board. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |
