For those of you who voted for 17th November and can only make that date, a group of Simsig members have decided to still hold an unofficial meet in Derby on Saturday 17th November and its open for anybody interested in coming along. At the moment the venue is TBC but will be close to the station. We would aim to be there from 12 noon until about 6pm. Whilst we can't promise that we will be permitted to have the official meet simulation, I will ask to see if it will be allowed, if not there are plenty other sims out there which we can play or even chain together for a mammoth chain game. There are currently 12 SimSig members who cant make 10th who have expressed an interest in coming along, If you are interested just reply to the post and let me know. The venue is booked for Saturday 17th November. We are in the usual room at the Brunswick Arms. So its same place, same time, the following week and we are upto 11 people so far, if it stays around that then we can use one of the smaller rooms instead. Lots of time to decide though. Blessed are the true believers, for only they shall walk the Path, and they shall be welcomed unto the realm of the Ori and made as one with Them. Some screens would be even better ;)it covers the north wales coastline! the real NWC starts at chester and runs via mold junction to rockcliffe hall which is where the sim starts. it then runs all the way to holyhead via Llandudno Jcn and Bangor. the NWC also has branches to Llandudno, Amlych and blaenau. I am hoping I might get to come to this. A couple of queries before I work things out: 1. The more the merrier is the saying: how many more places are available? 2. Is bringing a laptop essential? Only reason for asking is that I don't have one. Cheers, Dave Log in to reply |

[quote="DaveHarries" post=37438 2. Is bringing a laptop essential? Only reason for asking is that I don't have one. Dave[/quote] Not essential, but the more laptops brought, the more "panels" available so to speak. if you have extension cables they are always goldust aswell "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply |

" said:I am hoping I might get to come to this. A couple of queries before I work things out:1) As many as wish to come along, the more the merrier. 2) No it's not. We currently have enough laptops to run one game of NWC. If we get some more we may run a second game alongside the first. I'd like to come to this, if there's space. I've sent in a registration form. This would be my first meet, so is there anything in particular I should bring? I don't have a laptop, I'm afraid.. Log in to reply |
