I know there has been interest in this from the SimSig community, so I hope I'm not going to be banned for publicising this.

The Gainsborough Model Railway is scheduled to be featured during tonight's Antiques Road Trip on BBC2 at 1715.

For details, facts and pictures - visit www.gainsboroughmodelrailway.co.uk

There are also some exhibition clips on Youtube.

If you're still interested, then we're open on Sunday for the running of the UK's busiest Absolute Block Main Line. Other dates as published, unless the SimSig community would like a group visit on a Monday evening!

God bless, Daniel Wilson

Please do publicise things like this - after all, it's most definitely topical!

Those of us who demonstrate the L&Y Signaling School layout, at the NRM York, might dispute that claim!!!!

Quite - it may be busier, but I would dispute the main line bit!

Iplayer link for those who couldn't react quickly enough:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01n6xrr/Antiques_Road_Trip_Series_5_Episode_5/ - available until Friday.

And of note, GMRS is due to feature on another BBC program in November - I'll try and give a bit more notice this time. To save anyone else asking - I wasn't available for either set of filming, so I don't feature anywhere.

God bless, Daniel Wilson
