i am working on an 85 timetable, and am having trouble platforming my first seed train into P7.
the manual indicates the platform is 245m long. the train is 237m.

when entering the station, the train stops overhanging TC 824.

I have also tried adding FX as a stopping point to force the train up to the stops, but no success.

regards
Joe

Looking through the debug stuff, Matt has it coded as 235m, which is presumably means a typo in the Wiki. However, the Sectional Appendix lists the platform as 280m so.... Sim platform is too short, but the Wiki lists the incorrect wrong value. I'll prod Matt when he gets back from work...

James has put this on the bug board, and I'll look at it when I get around to development work again.

a few more issues for the bug board:

LS20 clears for locos to drop onto trains for P8,P9 and siding E but not for P7.

LS19B doesnt clear for locos to drop onto trains into P6, however LS59 does so one of two routes works

LS19A doesnt clear for locos to drop onto trains in P6 or P5

all other subsidiarys allow call ons into the station platforms while fully occupied.

finally a quick question. the locking at lime street prevents signalling trains into, or out of the station sidings while the corresponding platform is occupied. does this also apply to P4/SB where suitable protecting signals are provided for the movement to be made?

Joe
