i have just started running through the 09 timetable and 1K02 has arrived at ryhl ex abergele, the block section is telling me to press train arrived and clear out to accept another train which i can do, however the block section isnt axle counted (no white illumination when a route is set) so how has the rhyl signalman found the train to be complete? not a major one, as my pedantic self can always wait until the train has passed the box before knocking out for it, but just curious. Joe there is a tail lamp phone on the platform which the guard uses to phone in to say he's complete. To save writing custom code to generate the phone call, I've made it so you can knock out once the platform track is occupied. You can of course if you wish wait till he's passed the box. If you want to grab me on team speak at some I can explain some of the oddities "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Last edited: 18/11/2012 at 11:59 by headshot119 Log in to reply |

no thats fine karl, i suspected that might be the case, the same situation arises at harrogate north where the guard has to call ASAP to maintain headway if the train is terminating and running back to leeds. the harrogate bobby would never see the tail lamp otherwise. thanks for the reply.
