Hi, Running: Carlisle 15-10-2009 v1-61 (0445).WTT Probably me being stupid, but I cannot figure how to get 6J08 into Upperby Yard. I read the wiki manual on this point but it just says: There is a long standing interlocking fault with the real signalling where signal CE285 incorrectly reverts to danger when points 706A/B are swinging from normal to reverse. Therefore any routes from signal CE285 should be cancelled before swinging the points before setting a route from signal CE287 to CE267. This doesn't help me, especially as I can't find any signals with those numbers. Any ideas? Log in to reply |

I wonder whether as 6J08 is an Engineer's train (tamper), it actually goes to the engineer's siding rather than the yard proper. May be a TIPLOC discrepancy in the original data. I can only help one person a day. Today's not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look too good either. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: hotwellian |

Just discovered this thread having encountered the issue with 6J08. According to Phil Deaves Railway Codes website Upperby Engineers Siding and Upperby Yard do not share TIPLOC codes. Carlisle Upperby Civil Engineer's Sidings = CARLUES Carlisle Upperby English Welsh & Scottish Railway = CARLAPC Carlisle Upperby Maintenance Depot = CARLUMD Carlisle Upperby Traction Maintenance Depot = CARLTMD Hope this is of interest. One thing that puzzles me about this: the sim's TT validation reports that routing a train from Upperby Bridge Jn directly to Upperby Yard is valid. From the track layout, the only way of doing this would be to use the facing crossover immediately in advance of CE264, but that's not controlled from the panel and there is no GF visible (in 2000s mode) for operating it.

It was put on the Bug Board last month as "Impossible route being validated by TT ". “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Adrian the Rock |

I can't stop it from validating without breaking other things, but as you say you should at least get a warning. It's been a known issue for some time but it was low priority. Thanks Log in to reply |
