My name is Alan, and I live in Oregon. I have always been a fan of railroads at home, and UK railways really hooked me when I visited the country in November 2007.

I first heard about SimSig in a chat conversation while playing Freight Yard Manager, and that was a couple of years ago. I just realized today that I had never registered for the forums, and I just played my first MP session. Loved it!

I hope that someday I will be able to develop some simulations - I have been doing exactly that in Train Dispatcher 3 for years - current projects in that program are York, Slough, Marylebone, and the LUL network. I would like to be able to develop some simulations here both real and fictional, as I have a pet project that I hope to someday turn into an OO gauge exhibition layout here in the States.

Please note that when I join a session, I may have to leave on short notice due to having children that tend to take up a lot of time!
