I hope someone can help.

I am playing Gloucester and i am having trouble joining the banker at the bottom of the Lickey incline in the Bromsgrove UGL. I change the timetable on the banker to run to the timetable that the train needs, it moves up behind the train then says that the train is in front and cant move.
Is there something i am doing wrong, please help
many thanks
rob

Which Timetable are you playing, and which trains are involved?

At a guess, the loco might not 'think' it's in the right place to check, open F2, right-click the train>Timetable Options> Edit Timtetable. Highlight the last location on the list and select 'Set Next/current location'. The loco should join on.

If you use the excellent search facility on the Forum (box at the top right) and put in something like Gloucester banker you can find this thread which may have solved your problem for you without having to wait for someone else to post an answer on the Forum. Most problems in most sims have already been identified and then discussed at some stage on the Forum so you can probably find your own answers if you do a quick bit of searching.
