Not sure if this is a bug or a way for an un-observant signaller to make a mess of it!

It appears its possible for the Deganwy to clear a signal through a obstructed level crossing. I know in the real world, there is no interlocking to stop this from occuring but on other sims if this occurs the route won't come off

The image appears to show both crossings as lowered and cleared, therefore I can't see an issue?

Looks like the last message in the message window says crossing not clear.

Unless it applies to another crossing, possibly?

Have you tried to set a route across another level crossing after this, without first lowering that crossing?

SimSig will not give you the option to press "CLR" if the crossing is obstructed, and I think the message that comes up is different. The message you have there seems to indicate another level crossing.

thats the indication when attempting to clear a raised crossing. when the barriers are down and the crossing is blocked, it says "crossing blocked by road vehicle"

I've just had a play with the release copy of NWC, and I can't seem to reproduce this.

Could you perhaps give a little more insight into the issue, rather than riddles?

09:40 1G30 departed from Ty Croes 2 min(s) late
09:42 Crossing not clear
09:46 Up Train Approaching Gaerwen Level Crossing
09:47 Gaerwen barriers are down
09:50 Llanfairpwll barriers are down

Don't know which LX was not clear, I assume it was Ty Croes?

It's whichever crossing that you just attempted to clear. The button would continue to flash, the signals would stay red and that message would appear each time you press the 'clear' button.

Sounds far more like you're trying to set the route before lowering the crossing...

so exactly what danny has just said?

makes sense - if the crossing hasnt been dropped and locked, the locking lever wont go back into the frame and wont release the signal lever protecting the crossing (assuming deganwy still has a frame?) equally a panel wont allow a route to be set across an open crossing unless it has a certain peice of kit (aspect level locking?).

Attempting to set a route across Deganwy crossing on the down road, will give "Route Not Available", trying to set a route across it in the up will give "Crossing Not Clear".

Two different messages due to the interaction with the block on the down road and not the up road.
