Probably a stupid question, but how do you get a loco stopped at CE267 into the run-round line?

i havent got the sim/sim plans in front of me so i cant advise on specific numbers, but if CE267 is at the south end of the goods line, and you're running a loco round onto the north end, theres a ground frame which needs to be operated once the loco has passed over the trailing points.

With the loco stopped at CE267, left-click the 'F' on the ground-frame control. Then, open up the Upperby run round ground frame control from the Show -> Lever Frames menu, and operate both levers.

Nothing will change on the layout, but the points will be set onto the run-round line, and the signal will come off, allowing the loco to enter the run-round line. Once the train is onto the run-round line, replace both levers, and right-click on the 'F'.

Job done.

CE267 is in deed the location of the ground frame (935) or lever frame when it is described in the Sim Sig Wiki pages. There is also a mention of this in the user manual which may be a good place to start when a newbie before delving straight in. Try the user manual under ground frames and also the following link to familiarise yourself with the workings of them

http://www.SimSig.co.uk/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=usertrack:ssrun:lever_frames

To work it try the drop down under show/lever frames/935
