hi all, I am now (unfortunately) running on win8, and for the last couple of days I have been unable to open .exe files to install anything (with the exeption of adobe PDF). i double click and get a loading circle on the screen, but the nothing.... with some exe files it prompts are you sure to which i click yes, but again, after that nothing. the issue is preventing me installing all of the SimSig sims i did have, although i have about 6 installed. anyone got any ideas if ive hit a red button somewhere and this issue is fixable? edit: just to add the file appeared in task manager, but wasnt ever doing anything Joe "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Last edited: 06/02/2013 at 20:29 by jc92 Log in to reply |

ive done a bit of digging and its definetly a windows 8 (not SimSig software) issue. fixed via regedit. but still very annoying! "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply |
