I'm also having problems with the 6M11.
I managed, by editing the timetable of 6M11 to make the split happen, instead of

Nottingham FRP
Sig 284/285 DF 0M11 J 0M11 N 6M112

changing to

Nottingham FRP DF 0M11 J 0M11 N 6M112

Following that I can happily run 0M11 up to Beeston, crossover to the DG and back to Nottingham
As 6M11 is too long to join at 284/285, I've routed (and edited the timetable) 0M11 into the UM at Nottm Stn, and set a route to Sig 259 (entrance to Eastfield TMD), then from 261 to P6 then to FRP to join with 6M11.

Trouble is I can't get 0M11 to leave the UM!

By setting the route 267 to 259, the sub clears ok. The loco just sits there. I give command to shunt forward, nothing happens. I give command to reverse direction. The loco accelerates to 15, the slows down and stops. The F2 train list shows it as "Stopped at Nottingham UM". I can't give command to pass signal at danger, as its not stopped at a signal.

How do I get the loco to continue its (ammended) timetable?

I'm beginning to suspect this is a bug in the sim, as I've also found I can also set a subroute from the UM to the US at the same time as the subroute from UM to 259, which, I believe, shouldn't happen.

Any ideas please?

Edit: Should have said Timetable Trent 2007 v3.9, sim Trent v3.8121

if it is showing as "stopped at XYZ" then it isnt ready to move. how long have you given the loco to reverse? also does it have a booked departure time or a 00:00 time?

when the loco is ready to move off it will show "awaiting right away at XYZ" by shunting the loco, you have made it move a bit, realise its at a designated stopping point, stop and begin its stop there again from scratch.

if it has a departure time entered, you may have to wait for it to reach that time. if not then give it a couple of minutes to make movements

Thanks, I was just not waiting long enough!!

The next problem was that I could route 0M11 to sig 259, reverses ok, then route from 261 to P6.
From P6 (sig 283) I can set route, but sub does not clear. I thoght that a sub would clear if route is set, "but section not necessarily clear to next signal, so only proceed at extreme caution and be ready to stop short of any obstruction." ( to paraphrase the rulebook). If this is the case , why does the sub not clear?

By waiting for driver to phone in, I could instruct him to pass signal at danger. Loco then moves forward to FRP and stops there.
F2 Train list shows both 0M11 and 6M111 at FRP, both waiting for joining train.
Why do they not join at that location?

I solved it by instructing 6M111 (just wagons without a loco ?) to reverse direction. Its then shown as "moving at xx mph" until it joins ok.

This doesn't seem right does it?
