I'm currently enjoying playing Sheffield- thanks to the development team involved. I'm having to do some re-platforming, but I can't find a list of platform lengths anywhere on the wiki or in the forum. Is anyone able to provide these?

If anyone wants to delve for this sort of information in the future, it is available online at the Network Rail website. This only allows you access to the current and next year's planning information but if you click on the Timetable Planning Rules for the year you require and then the Line of Route you want to see, platform lengths are given in section 5.4 of each document. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 16/02/2013 at 23:39 by postal Log in to reply The following users said thank you: BarryM, Ben86 |

Thanks Steamer, for the very comprehensive info now on the Wiki. I've downloaded the interactive version of the PDF that Postal linked to, but am struggling to get it to work. I have extracted the zip file, but the autorun file hasn't run. When I open the individual files, I'm getting a lot of error messages- has anybody managed to get this to work? Ben Log in to reply |

It works OK on my system if I open roprhome.pdf manually and ignore the autorun. This opens up a menu page where I can go to the Timetable Planning Rules then the individual Lines of Route. Post has attachments. Thanks for the response, John. Unfortunately when I open that file and try to click the buttons I get an error message: 'There was an error opening this document. The file cannot be found.' The file appears to open fine in Adobe Reader but perhaps my system is not set up to run the file properly. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

Quick question: Did you get everything down - all of mine is in a folder called "is130201" and is 172Mb? “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |

I had the same thought- mine downloaded in a zip file, and inside that is a folder with the same name and size. I might try downloading again in case something went amiss.
