Hi all,

been running Swindon Summer 2005 v2.226.WTT just recently and every time I load a saved game I receive calls from a Technician stating "failure in 'X' location has been repaired" even when there hasn't been a failure. I did search the forum, but found no reference to this. Is this a known bug?

Apologies if it has been mentioned before.

Thanks
Rich

Hello again

I guess I wasn't too clear on the true nature of this issue. When I say calls, I mean a regular stream of calls. I have attached a couple of snapshots showing call log and failure settings.

Any ideas guys, as it makes it very annoying to run this simulation!

Thanks
Rich

Thanks for your reply Barry

I'm running a standard scenario. My point is that if you look at the times that failures occur and then are fixed they are the same. And as I originally said these listed failures haven't actually occurred. It isn't a case of I've forgotten the failures, they simply do not exist!

I've run the simulation, saved it, continued running it and saved it again 15-20 minutes later and when I reload the saved game I get a constant stream of calls stating this or that failure has been fixed.

Totally confused

Although there does seem to be some sort of bug it doesn't seem to effecting your game play?

I would say that you have Max Failures set to 1
However you have the Failure Length Time slider pushed all the way to the left.
So as soon as a failure occurs it is fixed.

So either change failures to 0 or move the Time slider to the right slightly (or further if you want)

For the signal failures, this is clearly visible. They display the same time for both. I see that it's confusing since the other failures leave out the detection message here.

Thanks to all of the suggestions regarding this problem, however after trying several settings and scenarios I still had the same issue. The remedy was the old favorite, to re-install the simulation after which the problem went away!

Cheers
