Train 5A93 seems to be problematic—it is scheduled to come in at midnight (0000) and sit in Carlisle Siding A, then not leave there until 2100. Other trains, at the very least 6C35, want to move through there. Is this just a reflection of the real-world timetable provided to signallers, or is it a bug here?

I'd consider that a clash, rather than a bug. I just popped the offending trains into P1 rather than siding A to change crew.

I think that 5A93 and associated are "Q" paths invoked by Royal Mail when something in their usual road and air networks has gone belly-up. As such, the real-world train would run infrequently (no more than a handful of times a year) so on most days Sdg A would be clear and no clash would arise.

Seems like a pretty good reflection of reality to me - hardly a day goes by without a planned conflict of some sort (usually involving STP'd freight). Thankfully, a mixture of forward planning and good luck means that we can usually make it work without too much bother...one of the satisfying bits of the job, and likewise for Simsig!

I understand that real-world timetables are not always perfect; if this is just reflecting that then great, I will happily take on replatforming anything and everything necessary!
