I,m working on a 1985 Timetable I downloaded and trains that are scheduled from Thingley Jn to Chippenham have a message which says There is no Route between the two locations. Is there a solution? I am trying a work round by deleting Chippenham from the schedule and the locomotive in question does now appear at Westbury, which it didn,t before. But it is still en-Route to Bradford Jn so I stll have to wait to see if it works. I guess I can always abandon the Timetable if the worst comes to the worst. Log in to reply |

Without the actual TT, I haven't the faintest how you've managed this, unless you've put in some strange line codes at Thingley - but I would've thought that would be flagged up between Trowbridge and Thingley, not Thingley and Chippenham. Edit: Whoops, I thought we were talking about Swindid. Last edited: 08/05/2013 at 20:58 by Danny252 Log in to reply |

I have seen the same thing before. If you delete the Chippenham entry the train enters and runs, and vanishes as it passes Thingley junction - job done as Westbury has no control over what happens thereafter. Trains won't enter unless the location list is OK, but those already running on the panel - such as a DMU reversing at Westbury and changing TD to go back to Swindon - will happily go that way with Chippenham still in the location list. Interestingly when I ran a test train, a down train appeared and didn't stop until Thingley junction (rather than one signal before). My test train ran straight through it, and the down train then carried on its way once it was given a slot! jrr Log in to reply |

Thanks for all of your responses. I don,t know why Chippenham was included in the schedules but at least now I know, all I have to do is delete Chippenham from all the schedules.

Perhaps the timetable was created for this version. However Wootton Bassett Jn's location was removed from the scrolly version. Barry Barry, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Log in to reply |

That would make a lot of sense Barry.. The scrolly I downloaded was dated August 2011, V2.227. There is also a Jan 2010 V1 on the download page which I assume is also a scrolly. The 2010 version comes with a 2009 timetable but the 1985 Timetable I am working on by Postal has a note saying it comes in Zip Form with an additional Timetable with a 05.30 Start Time but it is the same one that comes with the Sim. That would sugest it is for the Paged version. To add further weight to that argument Postal also has a 1981 Timetable on the Download Page with a note that says it has been adapted for the Scrolly version. Log in to reply |

" said:the 1985 Timetable I am working on by PostalNot my TT. In the kerfuffle when we fell out with the last host of the web-site and had to move to a new site we had to get all of the stuff like downloads moved over a bit sharpish so I did a lot of the manual labour. At the time, the only way that I could transfer the stuff was under my name. Both the sim manual on the Wiki and the notes to the TT in the Download section acknowledge the TT as a KurtDS production. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |

This highlights the need to include the version number the TT was built on in the upload. There are still some recent 4 uploads sitting waiting approval that have not got this data; no one seem to have chased up the approvaland, though admitedly I don't think any of the admin have contacted the person either: stalemate.
