Hi all I am reasonably new to Sim Sig and this is my first post in the forum so I hope this is in the correct place etc. I have tried to set up a network game in the past with a friend and failed! I would like to host games at Exeter once I know how. I gave him my IP address and port number, and he could not get in once I had set the game up. I found the IP through the Sim Sig website and did not use the internal one. It did not connect. If it helps anyone solve my problem I am using a laptop on a home Wi-Fi network. There are several other devices operating off the Wi-Fi. How can I get a network game to work? What information do I need to give to host with other Sim Sig users and were do I post this information? Thanks in advance Hornbytrains125 Log in to reply |
