Something else I need to write up, along with dwell times. And timetable imports.

Very briefly, if a train is booked to share a platform at a location, ARS wil not set the route for the 2nd train as it can see an occupied track circuit in the section ahead. However if the 2nd train is shown to share a platform with train 1, then ARS will set the calling on route into the occupied platform. Obviously that is a very simplistic explanation.
With regards to dwell times, if you go into a trains Characteristics in the timetable menu, you wil see a new tab called Custom Dwell Times. This allows you set set specific times for specific activities.

A write up on Defensing Driving would be most useful, can't quite figure it out at the moment.

I'll leave that one to Geoff, but again a very basic outline is that if it passes a specific aspect signal then it reduces speed by x amount.

Zero means it won't apply so it's 1s but other factors means it won't be that short.

whilst looking at the combined marylebone TT, it appears none of the chiltern units have made use of the chilterns specific defensive driving. is this intentional or an oversight?
