I find that loading a saved snapshot in Marylebone, the SimSigLoader does not close once the snapshot is loaded. If you click on the start button it eventually results in an Access violation. Clicking "Exit" closes the sim. The sim still runs ok with the loader in the background. There is no problem with Brighton. I am running XP SP3. " said:XP SP3.How much memory do you have on that? My Netbook runs Marylebone quite happily, albeit a bit slow on starting, and that's XP SP3, 1.6GHz, 1gig RAM. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

I'm running XP SP3. I have had problems for a long time now with .exes built on recent core code and loader sims in that the main start-up screen does not disappear when the sim is loaded. Strangely, going into the properties for the .exe (or the loader.exe) and setting the compatibility mode to Windows 2000 solves the problem on my system for both types of sim.
