I have a problem with train 5A64 - 04:43 Aberdeen - Montrose. The train moves correctly when signalled at the appropriate time from Ferryhill Up/Down to Platform 6S. However, the timetable does not change in sync with the train and the train does not reverse automatically at the platform. I can continue by manually reversing but the timetable remains static. What have I done wrong this time?

You can right-click a train to edit its timetable, there you can use the "Set current/next location" to set the right location in the timetable if it does not step up automatically. I'm not saying that it's normal that you need to step up manually, but I don't know NE Scotland well enough to know what you're doing wrong here. AJP in games Log in to reply |

5A64 doesn't go directly from Ferryhill Up/Down to P6S - it should go via the Station Siding (where the washing plant is.) Are you missing out this step? If so, the train may still be expecting to arrive at Aberdeen Station Siding as it's next location which is why it is not automatically reversing in the platform.

Thank you for your help and Albert's quick fix. I made the error you pointed out. I thought the line from signal A28 to A35 was part of the Station Siding.
