I have downloaded and run the new version of the game software as recommended, but still Fenchurch Street does not appear anywhere within the SimSig programming, not on the loader or separately in the program files.

What on earth have I done wrong? it is a shame as this is my local line and was looking forward to having a go at this.

All mo old sim sig programs still work fine, but there does not appear to be an execute file for Fenchurch Street.

HELP!!!! please

Have you bought a licence or using the trial version ? If you've bought a licence you need to open the licence manager and allocate it to your machine.

Can you tell me how to purchase a licence as I not finding this site very new user friendly right now. I guess I must be using the trial version if I cannot remember ever buying a licence, these sims to be very good so not worried about buying in at whatever is needed, just that I cannot see where to do things, even had to sort out my own way of getting the download.. Wish I understood a lot more.

Just to clear up a few things:
- Which version of Windows are you running?
- Did you install the new system files and Fenchurch Street in the default locations suggested by the installer?

Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick.

I am running Windows XP home version, I did change the location as it appeared they were placed into all users documents, didn't think that looked right, was that my mistake.

The loader comes up alright but there is nothing in it, not even my old sims programs, does this mean I will have to uninstall the whole lot and start again?

Thanks for quick reply.

In XP you should find a folder named Simulations ane another named Timetables. they are sub folders of the Simsig folder. In these folders you will find the individual sims. There are no "exe" files. They now have a extension named "sim".

Forgot to mention that exe files "SimsigLicence.exe" and "SimsigLoader.exe" must be in the Simsig folder.

The loader doesn't know about .exe sims; you continue to run those in the same way as before.
