Hello all, Just running the Easter Marylebone Diversions TT and got a problem with a train that got stuck in Aylesbury Sdgs. Noted the problem down, binned the train and subsituted a 3 car Class 165 set instead, handy that I put the spares in the sidings! However, as it left I noticed it was booked for a pair of Class 165's and splits at Marylebone...ah... No worries, cancelled the divide and put in a 'VSTP' style path into the Timetable Editor as 5Z26 from Wembley Depot Up to Marylebone, to then work 2A26. Set it to enter two minutes after the current sim time. I checked the 'Enter On Time' and override the 'Must enter on time' to ensure it ran. Well it's 5 minutes overdue and still hasn't appeared. In F4 it is still in black which means it registers that is hasn't appeared yet. I also have all delays off as I'm testing, and there is overrides to make it appear on time but it's not. I've duplicated it, changed the time to 2 minutes ahead, binned the old one and still it doesn't appear. All the timing points are in and it validates ok, so what can I do to drag a needed DMU out the depot? It's not quite the end of the world as it's an Aylesbury service, if push comes to shove then I'll just have to cancel the inward leg and pull another spare off Aylesbury Sidings to run the outward leg instead. Would just be nice to be able to run it to test it that's all. Any help appreciated! James. Log in to reply |

Does the entry location have rolling stock accounting?

have you run the validation check on the timetable? if not and there's any issue with the timetable the train won't enter. also maybe try running the analyser for any validation issues or errors with it?

Try taking out the line codes (i.e. DAL) of your validated schedules from the southbound departures from Wembley LMD, and see whether that makes a difference.

JC92, yes I did validate (read the post in full first :P) lol! Either case, I tried the analyser thing, and there was no errors for 5Z26 at all. Other trains in the morning have gone out fine and they also use line codes (as I validate everything) but perhaps the timetable is not linked during live play, the sim might load the data off of it when loading a new timetable, but might need to start from scratch to see any changes in the timetable, could this be a possibility? Either case it was running later and later so I cancelled the service and pulled a spare 2 car 165 out from Aylesbury Sdgs to work the next service, the Princes Risborough shuttle. Did you manage to resolve the problem? If the line codes aren't the problem, try seeing if the Wembley LMD slot WD101 361 (SUB) is unchecked. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Log in to reply |

" said:Did you manage to resolve the problem?    That'll be why...Never resolved it as I deleted it in the end, just had a train enter 4 hours late from there because of the slot I left on... I shall now bury my head under the sand, thank you for yours and everyones assistance, always need someone to look outside the box who can point out something I would have otherwise missed :) James.
