Haha oh yes! Its been a long weekend! Entry time should be 43+58! Thankfully this is the Moorgate Fire Procedure trip so won't do any harm sitting at Drayton Park for a few extra hours!

Oh blimey I forgot about those. 5K98-3 is a football extra too and not the Moorgate trip as I had thought so will need amending to show correct entry time of 43:58

dwelham313 I've been gradually chipping away at this timetable, and having finally arrived at Sunday, it strikes me that the relatively sedate nature of the Sunday service would make it ideal for newcomers to the sim, so I was wondering whether you'd be prepared to split Sunday off from the main timetable and upload? I realise that one could simply start the sim at 48:00 or later, but there would be numerous berthing trains missing. Log in to reply |

Hi John, I did consider uploading Sunday as a separate TT but simply didn't have time. Perhaps I'll have a go in the next few weeks with plenty of seeded trains so it can have a latish start and skip the overnight section. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: John |

I just abandoned the timetable for 5K98-3 and put it in platform 2 at Drayton Park until right time. 52 hours in and running at 95% score so far.

Finally got as far as Saturday morning - having to set up the various engineering works for each night makes a nice touch. One thing I've noticed though is that most trains requiring rules [1] have them set up for Friday only, with no rules present for the other days. [1] E.g. trains working through Ferme Park CS or Letchworth CS, some infrastructure trains (3Jxx) and trains reversing/droping off units off-sim in Royston. Edit: Actually the rules are missing for Friday as well, only it seems that I added them myself a long time ago. I'd completely forgotten about that... Two million people attempt to use Birmingham's magnificent rail network every year, with just over a million of them managing to get further than Smethwick. I'm about to start this timetable. Should I use the old or new layout? Its not clear to me. Both old and new layouts come up with a warning saying they may be incompatible with this timetable. Am I doing something wrong? Many thanks Graham Last edited: 21/05/2016 at 14:06 by geezer63ed Log in to reply |

As far as I understand, the Timetable was produced before the current version of Kings Cross was released, hence the warnings. In theory it should be able to run in the new layout as the flyover at Hitchin opened in June 2013

Thanks y10g9. It seemed the best bet to me; I'm also assuming the Hitchin flyover is the reason for the warning.

Despite the warning, this timetable is clearly intended for modern mode - there are a few route learners booked over the flyover, plus more importantly, it's making use of platform 0 at King's Cross.

I wrote this timetable for the old version and it was in final testing when the loader was released, so was converted for the loader before public release which is possibly why warnings are coming up. It is intended to be run in modern mode. One or two timetable errors crept through which I think are all reported in this thread, good luck with the timetable! Small correction. Timetable should end at 99:00 not 27:00 Otherwise the end off session warning comes up at 3AM on the Saturday. And somehow that interferes with the 0300 automatic save which is skipped. Up to the second morning and enjoying it so far :-) Log in to reply |
